Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Community and Government Collaboration

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale di Cornuda for the signing of a project dedicated to aiding the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Social transport will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
