Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training, and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Social transport will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
