Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.

Social transportation, services, listening centers, and gathering points will also be enhanced.
