Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding
Start of the agreement and participants
On the day of June 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the socially most vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, with a duration of two years, especially aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.
Activities and expected goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering points will also be enhanced.
