Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding and Community Collaboration

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly people and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
