Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding and Community Partners

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day of June 1996 entry, an agreement was held in the auditorium of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting socially vulnerable individuals.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the ^’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.

Planned Activities and Goals

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.

Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

^l’ Comune di Cornuda has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the different involved components.

Volunteer organizations will have a central role in the ^’ organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
