Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding for Vulnerable Groups

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteering organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total allocated budget for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the target groups. Additionally, social transport services will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
