Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K in Community Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project in support of the socially most disadvantaged individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the Community Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community grants.
Activities and Planned Objectives
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will be reinforced.
