Start of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which will last for two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
