Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with EU Funding and Community Involvement
Start of the agreement and participants
On June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Goals and funding
The project, which lasts for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union sources.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Transportation services, social transport, and support centers for listening and gathering will also be enhanced.
