Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative’s implementation is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
