Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Local Stakeholders in 1996
Beginning of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable members of society.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
In addition, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
