Community Initiative Supports Vulnerable Residents in Cornuda
Start of the agreement and participants
On the day June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total funding allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.
Planned activities and objectives
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the categories most in need.
Transportation services, community centers for listening and gathering will also be enhanced.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating occasions for meeting and solidarity among citizens.

l’ Municipal Administration has committed to support the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.
Volunteer organizations will play a central role in’ the organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation of the local community.
