Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Regional and EU Funding
Beginning of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last for two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is about one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union grants.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
