Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Regional Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives from local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable categories. Additionally, social transportation, community centers, listening centers, and gathering points will be enhanced.
