Cornuda Social Support Project Promotes Inclusion and Community Unity

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will have a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total allocated funds for the implementation of the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed by regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.
Volunteer organizations will play a central role in the organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
Overall, the convention represents an example of collaboration between institutions and citizens aimed at protecting and improving the quality of life for the most vulnerable individuals.
