Cornuda Social Support Project Promotes Inclusion with €100K Funding
Start of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, with a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to around one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.
Planned activities and objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Furthermore, social transports and services will be enhanced, along with listening centers and gathering places.
