Cornuda Social Support Project Promotes Vulnerable Residents’ Well-being

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last for two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total funding allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project aims to promote social integration and improve the quality of life for those involved, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by providing security services and coordinating efforts among the various involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
