Cornuda Social Vulnerability Support Project Launches with Regional Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories.

Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.
