Cornuda Social Welfare Project Launches with €100K Funding and Community Support
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of June 1996 arrivals, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project in favor of the socially most vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and EU grants.
Planned Activities and Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation, services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
