Cornuda Social Welfare Project Launches with Regional Support

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable people. Some representatives of local political and social forces attended the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total funds allocated for the initiative amount to about one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transports and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will be enhanced.
