Cornuda Socially Vulnerable Support Project Launch and Goals
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives from local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which is slated to last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.
Activities and Planned Objectives
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Transportation services, social transport, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
