The Alto Garda Museum has launched an ambitious project aimed at enhancing the cultural accessibility of its venues, thanks to funding from the Caritro Foundation. From March 2025 to June 2026, the project “Alto Garda Museum Without Barriers” seeks to eliminate physical, cognitive, and sensory barriers through digital tools, tactile pathways, audio guides, and content in Easy to Read language. This initiative involves significant partners from the cultural and social sectors, such as Anffas Trentino and the National Deaf Organization, to ensure that all visitors can enjoy an inclusive and interactive museum experience.

The museum’s director, Matteo Rapanà, emphasized the importance of creating a network of collaborations to transform the museum into not just a place of preservation but also a hub of museum innovation. Planned actions include the development of a dedicated app that will provide content in various languages and formats accessible to individuals with physical and sensory disabilities. With this project, the Alto Garda Museum aims to become a reference point for the enhancement of the cultural heritage of Alto Garda, ensuring a diverse and inclusive enjoyment of its offerings.
