The summer promises to be full of cultural events at the MuSa – Museo di Salò, with a series of events designed to engage adults and children alike. Concerts, temporary exhibitions, and guided tours will offer a deep immersion into the cultural life of the city.

Guided tours, curated by the director, curator, and curators of the MuSa, are returning with five scheduled appointments between June 29th and the end of August. These tours offer a unique opportunity to discover the secret stories behind paintings, objects, and works preserved in the museum. The cost is €7.00 per person, but admission is free for MyMuSa – Friends of the Museum cardholders. Reservations are required by calling 0365 20553 or sending an email to info@museodisalo.it.

The “Adventures at the Museum” return with workshops dedicated to the little ones. The 2024 season sees these workshops in dialogue with the works of the exhibition “From Splendor to Uncertainties 1910-1950. Stories of a Private Collection.” The goal is to recreate the particular atmosphere that characterized each pictorial movement from the Belle Époque to the Second World War. Every fourth Saturday of the month at 10:30 am, children aged 5 to 11 can participate for free thanks to the collaboration with La Melagrana. Places are limited to a maximum of 15 children; for information and reservations, contact info@museodisalo.it or call 036520553 – 3389336451.

From June 15th to September 29th, several guided tours included in the entrance ticket will be available:

– Permanent section “The Last Fascism 1943-1945. The Italian Social Republic”: Wednesday to Sunday at 11:00 am.
– Permanent collection of MuSa (from the Roman era to the early 20th century): Wednesday and Thursday at 3:00 pm.
– New exhibition “From Splendor to Uncertainties 1910-1950. Stories from a Private Collection”: Friday to Sunday at 3:00 pm until September 8th, 2024.

For those who desire an English guided tour, it is possible to request one by contacting the MuSa directly.

The museum will be open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm from June 1st to September 30th of next year. In October, the opening hours change slightly, with opening from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, still from Tuesday to Sunday. Extraordinary openings are planned on August 12th, November 4th, and December 26th.

For further information or reservations, you can contact the telephone number 0365 20553 or send an email to info@museodisalo.it.
