Desenzano Garda Unveils World4All® Project to Promote Accessible Tourism

Desenzano del Garda hosted the launch of the World4All® project on March 25 at Sala Pelér di Palazzo Todeschini, aimed at promoting accessible tourism through a measurable accessibility model. Developed by World4All® and Avventure Accessibili® in partnership with the Lago di Garda Lombardia Consortium, the initiative seeks to implement verifiable criteria and digital tools to clearly communicate the accessibility levels of tourism facilities.

The project includes a field assessment system, the World4All® app for filtering accessible options and planning stays, and the potential to create specialized tourism circuits and packages. With over 13 million Italians living with disabilities and an economic impact of €9.6 billion in tourism, the project plans to evolve into a version 2.0 incorporating artificial intelligence for more personalized recommendations.
