Desenzano Launches Revamp of Viale Marconi Between State Road 45 Bis and Via Caboto

The final phase of the Viale Marconi redevelopment has begun, focusing on repairs between the intersections with SS 45 bis Gardesana and Via Caboto. The project addresses asphalt damage caused by pine root growth, aims to preserve the trees, and includes the construction of a new pedestrian walkway in porphyry, along with ornamental planting areas.

The project, designed by Geometra Emer Bavelloni and overseen by Francesco Sandri, complements earlier work from early 2025 that upgraded the public parking area from Via Fermi to the lake. The improvements also temporarily affected the Thursday weekly market.
