Gargnano celebrates International Women’s Day with a cultural weekend at the Ancient Library of Canonica, featuring two events focused on women’s memory and identity. The program begins on March 7 with author Lorenzo Beccati presenting his novel “La notte delle scimmie,” followed by a March 8 session highlighting Viorica Gotisan’s book “La ragazza dai segni particolari,” which addresses themes of hidden stories and personal experiences.
Both events are scheduled for 4 p.m. at the Gargnano library, with free admission until capacity is reached. Organized by the local Culture Department, the sessions aim to enrich cultural offerings around Lake Garda, with additional information available through the municipal office.
