An incident of domestic abuse has shaken the Seridò event, which took place on Sunday, April 27, at the Montichiari Fair Center. During the event, a 44-year-old man from Vallecamonica physically and verbally assaulted his 37-year-old wife in front of their two children, aged 15 and 9. According to reports, the assailant grabbed the woman by the neck, insulting her and spitting on her in the presence of numerous witnesses.
Investigations revealed that this is not an isolated case; previous reports of abuse had been filed but later withdrawn. The intervention of the Local Police led to the immediate arrest of the man on charges of domestic abuse. Following a fast-track trial, he was ordered to be detained in prison. The wife sustained injuries that required a medical prognosis of seven days.
