The Montichiari Exhibition Center is preparing to host the 61st edition of the Electronics Fair on September 21 and 22, 2024. This event represents an important opportunity for all electronics enthusiasts, computer lovers, and vintage radio aficionados, offering the chance to discover collectible rarities and innovative products.

A Varied Offering for Visitors

The fair will take place across two pavilions, showcasing various thematic areas. Among them, the Radiantistica Expò stands out, dedicated to commercial electronics and consumer computing. Enthusiasts will also have the chance to explore the Portobello Radio Market, a section entirely focused on vintage radios and collectible materials. Additionally, there will be the Ham Radio Area, reserved for the latest technologies aimed at amateur radio operators, along with the Vinyl Fair, celebrating the timeless allure of vinyl records.

Celebration of the Centenary of the URI

A significant moment of the fair will be the celebration of the centenary of the Italian Radio Union (URI), organized by the AIRE (Italian Association for Vintage Radio). Founded in 1924 in Turin, URI has been a pioneer in the field of Italian broadcasting. During the event, original historical documents will be displayed, including magazines and payment certificates, alongside a collection of receivers belonging to member Roberto Boldori, featuring pieces manufactured between the 1930s and 1970s.

Portobello Radio Market: A Paradise for Collectors

The Portobello Radio Market returns with a new edition filled with unique pieces. This swap meet will allow visitors to immerse themselves in the history of vintage radios through a curated selection of rarities and used materials. The variety of exhibits promises an engaging experience for all enthusiasts in the field.

Ham Radio Area: Innovation and Tradition

The Ham Radio Area represents a focal point of the event, dedicated to amateur radio operators and broadcasting enthusiasts. Specialized exhibitors will present the latest innovations in RTX devices and advanced technological accessories from leading global brands.

Vinyl: An Evergreen Musical Medium

The passion for vinyl continues to grow, attracting collectors both young and old. The Vinyl Fair will offer a wide range of rare records and unmissable opportunities for those looking to expand their collection or simply explore this fascinating musical medium.

The appointment with the Electronics Fair is set for Saturday, September 21, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday, September 22, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Montichiari Exhibition Center. The ticket price is set at 8 euros, with a reduced price of 6 euros for those over sixty-five.
