A tragic road accident occurred today, Monday, July 7, on the Gardesana, just before 6 PM, at the border between Toscolano Maderno and Gargnano. The victim, Sebastiano Bertera, a 30-year-old from Limone Gargnano, lost his life after his high-displacement motorcycle collided with a Volkswagen station wagon. According to initial reports, both vehicles were traveling in the same direction when the car turned left at the intersection with Via Del Golf, striking the motorcyclist who was unable to avoid the impact.
Officers from the Salò Traffic Police, along with local authorities, arrived at the scene to carry out the necessary investigations. Following the incident, the Gardesana was closed to traffic for about two hours, causing significant disruption to circulation. No additional injuries were reported among the passengers of the Volkswagen, a couple of Danish tourists.
