From April 8th, certified reports of the start of activity (Scia) for temporary retail sales and temporary food and beverage service will have to be made exclusively through the electronic Suap. This is one of the new measures introduced as part of the progressive digitization of administrative procedures in local government.
The Consortium of Trentino Municipalities has announced that procedures related to Scia for temporary retail sales and temporary food and beverage service will be managed through the electronic Single Desk for Productive Activities of the Province of Trento (Suap). Starting from April 8th, all business entities will be required to use the electronic channel to submit these applications. Non-business entities, on the other hand, will have the choice to use the electronic channel or continue using paper forms.
In addition, along with the submission of commercial applications, the electronic system will also offer the completion and submission of the health notification to the Apss for the purpose of registration or communication of occasional events involving the production, service, or sale of food by entities other than food businesses.
It is important to note that the process of completing the applications has been defined in accordance with the guidelines of the joint circular from the Craft and Trade Service and the Health and Social Policy Department of the Province. The user will be required to declare whether they operate as an entity other than a food business, as a food business that needs to submit a notification for registration, or as a food business that can use an already submitted notification. Depending on the user’s declarations, the system will propose the completion of either a simplified communication or a registration notification, or it will not require the submission of any new applications to the Apss.
This innovation represents a further step towards the digitization of administrative procedures in the food and beverage sector, simplifying processes and making the interaction between entrepreneurs and local government more efficient. You can find more information on this news here.
