Regione Lombardia has announced significant support for agriculture in Lombardy, allocating 110 million euros to 185 farms through the SRD01 measure of the CAP 2023-2027. The Agriculture Councillor, Alessandro Beduschi, emphasized that this funding represents a tangible opportunity for businesses looking to modernize and enhance the efficiency of their operations. The investments will be used for structural and innovative interventions, including the renovation of production buildings and the purchase of technological equipment, thereby promoting rural development in Lombardy.
This initiative is part of the regional programming aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises, with non-repayable contributions that can also cover projects for the management of livestock waste and the establishment of tree crops. The distribution of funds sees provinces such as Brescia and Bergamo among the most benefited, confirming the Region’s intention to support a sector that is fundamental to the local economy.
