Garda’s Food Marathon Returns to Salò as Salò Golosa Kicks Off

Salo Golosa returns on Sunday, 27 September 2026, from 12:00 to 16:00, in Salò’s historic centre and along the lakeside. The event’s fourth edition, promoted by the Associazione Commercianti – Salò Promotion together with the Pro Loco Città di Salò, will offer an enogastronomic route focused on local products, dishes and traditions from the Garda area. The programme involves 20 restaurants and pastry shops, with two tasting itineraries—one on land and one on the water—paired with wines selected by the Valtenesi Consortium.

The day will also feature students from the Caterina de’ Medici Hospitality School in Gardone Riviera and the Veliero Circe, which will host tastings on the waters of the Gulf. Streets and squares across the town will be animated by the Rusty Brass Band. Organisers say the initiative aims to highlight local food and wine heritage while linking it with catering, hospitality training, music and tourism, involving residents, visitors and local businesses.
