On Sunday, May 4th, Gardone Riviera will host the debut of the Campagna Amica market, an initiative by Coldiretti aimed at enhancing local products. The market will take place in Piazza Marconi, along the lakeside, from 9 AM to 6 PM and will be inaugurated at 10:30 AM by the president of Coldiretti Brescia, along with other local representatives. This event will occur on the first Sunday of every month until October, featuring a selection of the finest Brescia specialties, including seasonal fruits and vegetables, honey, cheeses, cured meats, and wines.
The initiative aims not only to promote the typical products of the area but also to raise visitors’ awareness of the authenticity of agricultural production, the importance of seasonality, and the principles of the circular economy. The collaboration between the Municipality of Gardone Riviera and Coldiretti Brescia emphasizes a commitment to sustainable development and the promotion of healthier lifestyles through direct purchases from producers.
