Gardone Riviera Boosts Library With Redevelopment and New Spaces

The Tumminelli civic library in Gardone Riviera has reopened in new premises on via Follereau, near the local school complex, and resumed regular hours after months of closure for the move. The service now offers interlibrary loan and serves readers, students and families following a €770,000 investment launched in 2023.

The former location in Villa Alba park is undergoing a €620,000 energy and structural retrofit, including a heat pump, photovoltaic panels, new thermal insulation and high-performance windows; work has recently begun and is due to finish next summer, when Gardone Riviera is expected to have two active libraries.
