Gargnano hosts the Immaculate Regatta with Gardesano gondolas

Gargnano, gondolas ready to compete in the Immaculate Regatta. On Monday, December 8, the municipality is set to host a much-anticipated event for enthusiasts and tourists alike: at 11 AM, the boats are expected to arrive at the harbor in Piazza Nazario Sauro, while the races will kick off at 1:30 PM. Fourteen crews, including participants from as far away as Genoa, will compete in the waters of Bogliaco di Gargnano during the traditional “Immaculate Regatta,” organized by S.S. Villanella in collaboration with the Italian Fixed Seat Rowing Federation. To make the event even more engaging, the local Pro Loco will set up refreshment stands in the square, offering attendees the chance to savor local specialties while watching the competition.
