Gargnano Launches Community Hub to Strengthen Local Healthcare

Gargnano inaugurated its new Community House today at 10 a.m., with Regional Health Assessor Guido Bertolaso present. The facility aims to strengthen local healthcare services by providing accessible, inclusive, and continuous care, repurposing the former hospital closed in the 1970s.

The center features a single access point for patient orientation, administrative services, prosthetics, a connected blood testing station, and a new vaccination point. It also includes a territorial medical office, family and community nurses, obstetric-gynecological services, and home care through C-Dom. Local officials announced plans for a new 118 emergency station with helicopter landing, as Bertolaso highlighted regional efforts to establish 192 community houses across Lombardy.
