From October 17 to 20, the Brescia shore of Lake Garda hosted “Active Lake Garda,” an event that brought together 15 international travel agencies and tour operators. The initiative, promoted by Visit Brescia in collaboration with the Garda Lombardia Consortium, aimed to test and promote the region’s outdoor tourism offerings, involving 23 local sellers, including tour operators, hotels, and farms.

During the tour, participants explored various sports and scenic activities, including e-bike excursions along the famous lakeside cycling path and trekking in the Rocca di Manerba Nature Reserve. The program also featured visits to local museums and tastings of traditional products. This event highlights the growing importance of sports tourism in Europe, where it is estimated that there are around 100 million outdoor sports enthusiasts.
