GZ19 Padel Court Opens at Riva del Garda’s Du Lac Et Du Parc

The Du Lac Et Du Parc Grand Resort in Riva del Garda has launched its new sports project, the GZ19 Padel Club, bringing padel to the resort under the GZ19 brand. The initiative was created by Gianluca Zambrotta, the 2006 world football champion, together with Mondo di Scimpa, a European company active in kids’ services and sports within luxury resorts. The club name and branding reference Zambrotta’s initials and his national team jersey number.

The resort has joined the GZ19 Padel Tour, “Road to Maldive,” described as the first and only amateur padel tour hosted inside luxury resorts. Beyond building the courts, the format includes training clinics for experienced players, tournaments, events, and an Academy for both adults and children. The new facilities were created by Padel Corporation, the technical partner for GZ19 Padel.

The club’s opening featured brand ambassador Gianluca Zambrotta, along with Saverio Palmieri (Italy’s national padel team coach and Sky Sport commentator) and Gianmarco Toccini (former Serie A padel champion and TP Academy trainer). After a press conference and the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the weekend concluded with the GZ19 Padel Tour Road to Maldive tournament. Zambrotta said the project is set to grow padel in luxury hospitality settings, while the resort owners highlighted the added value of the new courts and the presence of top-level coaches.
