The Hens of Fosse Castello in Desenzano del Garda continue their charming, unpredictable adventures below the centuries-old battlements of the medieval fortress.
From an original lively flock of fifteen American bantam hens, their daily excursions into Piazza Malvezzi and the castle parking lot bewildered motorists and delighted passersby. Even after the proud rooster was relocated, the five remaining hens steadfastly maintained their daily ritual of independence and neighbourhood celebrity.
