A 31-year-old hiker was involved in a serious accident in the woods above Riva del Garda on the afternoon of Monday, April 28, falling approximately thirty meters down a steep slope. The woman sustained bruises and abrasions as a result of the fall, which occurred due to a misstep during her hike. An alert was immediately raised, leading to the intervention of the mountain rescue helicopter, which transported medical personnel to the scene of the incident.
After receiving initial care on site and being stabilized, the hiker was transported in serious condition to the Santa Chiara Hospital in Trento for further treatment. Authorities are investigating the specific circumstances that led to the accident.
