A serious medical emergency struck a 65-year-old man on Wednesday evening in Padenghe sul Garda, shortly after the conclusion of a running event. The incident occurred around 8:30 PM on Via Italo Barbieri, where the man collapsed to the ground, prompting an immediate response from the medical personnel present at the event. Emergency services were quickly alerted, and the man’s condition appeared critical from the outset, as his heart had stopped beating.
The responders performed resuscitation maneuvers for an extended period until the man began to show signs of responsiveness. He was then loaded into an ambulance and transported under red code to Desenzano Hospital, where he is currently hospitalized in serious condition. The situation necessitated an emergency intervention by local health services to ensure he received the necessary care.
