A traffic accident occurred on August 27, 2024, in Lonato, along the well-known stretch of Esenta, which has already been the scene of numerous incidents. A 27-year-old man, driving a Fiat Punto, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a ditch after veering off course on a straight stretch of road.
The driver, a local resident, was rescued by an ambulance from Cosp in Bedizzole and transported in yellow code to the hospital in Desenzano. Despite the significant damage to the car, the young man managed to exit the vehicle on his own. Firefighters from Castiglione also intervened for safety operations, while the traffic police from Desenzano conducted the necessary investigations at the scene.
