On **Friday, June 13**, the third and final public presentation of the **2025-2029 industrial plan** for the Gestione Navigazione Laghi took place in **Desenzano**, at the Pelèr Hall of Palazzo Todeschini. During the meeting, the organization’s executives outlined the results of a market analysis regarding passenger positioning and volumes compared to other Italian and international entities. The Mayor of Desenzano, Guido Malinverno, along with the Regional Tourism Councillor of Lombardy, Barbara Mazzali, actively participated in the discussion. General Director Alberto Chiovelli emphasized the importance of a pragmatic approach to address an estimated **3.3%** growth in demand on the lake.
The plan includes investments exceeding **100 million** euros for the renewal of the fleet and infrastructure, in addition to over **7 million** euros allocated for digital transition and operational efficiency improvements. These investments aim to enhance **public transport on Lake Garda**, making the tourist offer more competitive and showcasing the local scenic beauty. Pietro Marrapodi, Government Manager of the organization, highlighted how these measures will lead to significant economic and employment benefits. Furthermore, Alessandro Morelli underscored the unique opportunity presented by an integrated public management of services across the three main lakes in Northern Italy.
