Serem Benjamin Kiprop and Marina Pedretti triumphed in the Ivars Tre Campanili, the half marathon in Vestone, which took place this morning, starting at 9:00 AM from Piazza Garibaldi. Approximately 350 athletes tackled the mixed course of 21.097 km, featuring an elevation gain of over 900 meters along with challenging climbs and descents. Kiprop crossed the finish line in 01:28:33, while Pedretti completed the race in 01:55:09. The event, organized by the Garda Running A.S.D. association with the support of the Municipality of Vestone, has reaffirmed its significance in the landscape of sports events in Vestone.
At the end of the competition, the top finishers in both the men’s and women’s categories were awarded. Following Kiprop were Davide Bottarelli and Marco Biondi, while in the women’s podium, Paola Battaglia and Ana Nanu took the next spots. The event once again demonstrated its ability to attract running enthusiasts in a captivating and challenging natural setting.
