Recently, the Guide to Jubilee Churches was presented in Brenzone sul Garda, an initiative promoted by the Garda Community in anticipation of the Jubilee 2025. This project involves four dioceses: Brescia, Mantova, Verona, and Trento, and aims to introduce both residents and tourists to the most significant places of worship in the area, including the Santuary of Montecastello in Tignale. The guide provides historical and spiritual details about 18 jubilee churches, hospitality houses, and spaces for spirituality, and is available online in both Italian and English.
Mariastella Gelmini, President of the Garda Community, emphasized the importance of the jubilee pilgrimage as part of the local religious tradition. Vice President Filippo Gavazzoni expressed satisfaction with the work done to renew the previous guide created for the Jubilee of 2000. This initiative represents a unique opportunity to strengthen the bond between faith and the territory within the context of tourism hospitality. The project has also been warmly received by the Bishop of Verona, Domenico Pompili, who highlighted the hope inherent in jubilee moments through visits to the designated sacred sites.
