On Sunday, January 26th, Gargnano will host the 3rd Taiji Kase Master Trophy, an important karate competition that will see the participation of over fifty young athletes from various regions of Italy. The event will take place at the municipal gym starting at 9:00 AM and is reserved for brown and black belts of Feiska ASD. Organized by the A.S.D. Munen Karate School in collaboration with the Sports Department of the Municipality, the trophy celebrates the contribution of the great Japanese master Taiji Kase to the spread of karate in Italy.
The competitions, which will run until 1:00 PM, will include kata and kumite events for boys and girls aged between fourteen and thirty-five, belonging to different categories. The athletes, many of whom have international experience thanks to the recent ITKF World Championships in Portugal, will compete while upholding the core values of the discipline. The winners will receive a commemorative trophy dedicated to Taiji Kase. Admission to the event is free for all spectators.
