The Municipality of Lazise has recently joined the network “Building Europe with Local Councilors” (BELC), an initiative that connects over 1000 municipalities across Europe, including 235 in Italy. This project offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with other local and European leaders on crucial issues such as sustainable development and digitalization.
By participating in BELC, Lazise is committed to promoting constructive dialogue that not only informs citizens about European issues but also encourages active involvement in shaping the future of the territory. This collaboration will allow local administrators to share best practices and benefit from exclusive seminars, thus contributing to a deeper and more informed engagement with European policies.
Tonio Pettinato, councilor of the Municipality of Lazise, will be the local representative for this project. His participation will ensure that the voice of the community is heard and that European initiatives are adequately integrated into local policies.
