Recognition for Maurizio Serra
The award will be presented to Ambassador Maurizio Serra, a distinguished author who has successfully brought Italian culture to international contexts. The official motivation, signed by the Board of Directors of the Fondazione Il Vittoriale degli Italiani, emphasizes that “Maurizio Serra has taken Italian culture where no one else has succeeded.” This recognition not only celebrates his literary works but also his connection to Gabriele D’Annunzio and his commitment to the Vittoriale.
Giordano Bruno Guerri, President of the Fondazione Il Vittoriale degli Italiani, states: “Immotus nec iners,” a call to the cultural vitality that characterizes these initiatives.
