From June 7th to 9th, 2024, the historic center of Lonato del Garda will come alive with the Lonato Music Festival, a music event that marks the beginning of the summer season. The picturesque Piazza Martiri della Libertà will be transformed into a large stage to host a series of musical performances that promise to satisfy the tastes of all citizens.
Program of Performances
Unlike last year’s edition, the performances of the Lonato Music Festival will mainly take place in the square of the historic center. The Saturday and Sunday evenings will start at 9:00 PM, while Friday night will see two performances at the Church of Madonna del Corlo, also starting at 9:00 PM.
Participating Artists
Many artists will showcase their talent during these three evenings. Among the novelties, there will also be the return of well-known names such as the Coro Anima Vocis and the Scuola d’Archi Pellegrino da Montechiaro, who also participated in last year’s edition.
New Culinary Delights with “Le Vie del Gusto”
One of the great novelties of this edition is the presence of the food trucks from “Le Vie del Gusto.” These will offer visitors the opportunity to try different culinary specialties not only from various regions of Italy but also from the rest of the world.
Collaboration and Success of Past Events
The Councilor for Culture, Tourism, and Events, Mariangela Musci, stated that the event was designed to inaugurate the summer season with numerous musical initiatives that span various genres. Thanks to the success of past years, the offer has been expanded, focusing on established formats that have been well-received by the people of Lonato and the general public. The festival will also involve schools from neighboring towns and many music and dance enthusiasts.
